The examination takes place in 1 session.
Intravenous injection followed by the imaging (duration: 2 hr).
During the examination under the camera please remain motionless.

- Looking for a digestive haemorrhage
The imaging is based on the extravasation of radiolabelled red blood cells visualised in the form of an increased activity at the site of the digestive haemorrhage. This examination allows the imaging of a bleeding most of the time intermittent or of low flow over a prolonged period of up to 24 hr.
