Preparation
None.

The process
The examination occurs in 2 parts of 1 session (total duration: 2 hr)

1st part
Placement of a urinary probe.
2nd part
Acquisition of the dynamic imaging during the filling of the bladder by the solute and then during urination.
During the examination under the camera please remain motionless.

Main clinical indications

  • Search for vesicoureteral reflux

Principle
The dynamic imaging is based on the filling of the bladder with a solute containing a radiopharmaceutical enabling the identification of a reflux of the urine in the ureter (vesicoureteral reflux) during the filling or urination phase of the bladder, visible in the form of a flow opposite of the activity from the bladder in the ureter on the scintigraphy.
